Join us for the Second Annual Luigi Giussani Series on Faith and Modernity, June 22, 2017, in the heart of Manhattan. The event, entitled Christianity: An Encounter that Shapes Life, will feature Dr. Michael Waldstein, the Max Seckler Professor of Theology at Ave Maria University, and Distinguished Fellow of the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology, and Fr. Solanus Benfatti, CFR, Professor of Spirituality and Franciscan Traditions, St. Joseph’s Seminary, Archdiocese of NY.
The focus for the evening’s conversation will be to explore the heart of Christian faith, and the place of the encounter, as described in Generating Traces in the History of the World by Msgr. Luigi Giussani, founder of the ecclesial movement Communion and Liberation.
The event is free and open to the public, and reservations should be made at the Sheen Center here.
For those outside of New York, the event will be live streamed. More information is available at the Sheen Center.
